​​A spin on the phrase public speaking, Public Connecting is a program focused on the outcomes you are looking to achieve when you are addressing an audience. Public Connecting focuses on when you are looking to move your audience to change their way of thinking. Perhaps you have an idea or a need for change you'd like to see implemented. In other words you're looking to influence others.

Key Components of Public Connecting

1. Look out into the audience and know, with every ounce of your heart and soul, that you can move them. Have that look in your eye that says, "you are about to be WOW'ed"
2. Know where your audience is in the "pain - gain spectrum." know why they are there. Why are they attending?
3. Prove your understanding of their motivators. Ideally, how you've experienced what the're experiencing. Communicate; you've been where they are.
4. Paint a picture with visuals and/or words what changing their way of thinking will look and feel like.
5. Clarity increases the likelihood of understanding and buy-in
6. Thoroughly understand and communicate the  what's in it for them
7. Give them the way, the roadmap, the process. The steps to results/success
8. How you feel about your message will radiate. Your passion or lack of it will shine through
9. How you look and sound carries great influence. Communicate with confidence and poise. Send no mis-matched messages. How you look and sound must match your message.
10. Summarize what you shared with them. Call them to action. Explain the benefits, for them, for taking action
